La llamaban la flor del norte,
su cabello era como el oro,
y su piel como la nieve,
ojos fríos como su tierra.
Era una joven princesa,
de familia de alta alcurnia,
gobernaban en el norte,
con honor y disciplina.
Y un día gris su padre la reclamó,
proponiendo casarla con un noble español,
viajaría al sur por tierra y por mar,
dejaría Noruega para no volver más.
Con su séquito y sus ajuares,
a destino arribó,
desposada con Felipe,
en tierras vallisoletanas.
Consagraron su matrimonio,
se instalaron en Sevilla,
en un bello caserío,
rodeados de verde prado.
Pero ella anhelaba con nostalgia y dolor,
sus costumbres y su idioma y la nieve en su piel.
La melancolía y la soledad,
sin tener descendencia ni nadie a quien amar.
Cuatro años de dura lucha,
al final no pudo aguantar,
y cayó gravemente enferma,
en extrema debilidad.
Sus cabellos se marchitaron,
y su piel se dejó secar
y murió con una sonrisa
y abrazó un dulce final.
